DIVING FOR PEARLS are an explosive and inventive 6 piece band of experienced musicians, featuring horn section and keyboards, who meld styles, genres, and influences to play simply some of the best music from the ’70s to the noughties.

True to their name, the band’s constant quest to deliver a wide choice of quality material leads to a unique, constantly evolving, and surprising set, that gives venues a distinctly different offering, and keeps the audiences attention, leaving them wanting more.

The band was formed back in 2017 and features Russell Jupp on Bass guitar and vocals. The rhythm section is completed by the wonderful Ian Roy Simpson on drums.  They are joined by recent newcomer to the band, the amazing John Symonds on guitar.  Hammond organ and other keyboards, together with vocals, are contributed by the talented Peter Jones, which combine with the razor sharp brass section of Rob Darch (Sax) and Kevin Courage (Trumpet), to produce a really wide canvas of exciting sound and music.
